Diagnostic Imaging The Diagnostic Imaging Department offers radiology service 24 hours a day to in-patients, emergency, and out-patients of all ages including neonatal, pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatrics. Range of treatments comprises diagnostic, invasive intra-operative and non-invasive techniques, and modalities using ionizing and non-ionizing radiation (as in ultrasound), with or without the use of contrast media. The daily procedure load includes ultrasound, diagnostic X-ray procedures, mammography, CT scanning, Nuclear Medicine provided two days a week by Diagnostic Health Services, and Mobile Dexa scanning provided by Imaging Resource Centers, Ltd. once a month. Mobile MRI service is provided once a week. All films are interpreted and read by a Radiologist, a physician with specialized training in the field of imaging. Services Provided: The above procedures are provided by highly-qualified, registered and licensed professionals in their respective fields. The department continues to update the equipment and service provided. What to expect during your visit: Out - patients are required to register with the Business Office and will then proceed to have the tests requested by their physicians. The physician who ordered the test will receive the test results within 48 hours. Any critical findings are called to the physician immediately.
