Clay County Hospital announces Janet Hall, RN, as the recipient of the 2013 Spirit of Nursing Award for her positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to provide excellent care to her patients in the Outpatient Infusion Clinic. The Spirit of Nursing Award Ceremony was held at CCH on Friday, May 10, 2013 in celebration of National Nurse's Week. Also receiving awards were Dixie Krutsinger, CNA; Tina Canada, RN; Shannon Stanford, RN; Amanda Fuson, RN; Katie Castleberry, RN; and Carrie Fowler, RN. The Spirit of Nursing Ceremony was started this year to honor those in the nursing field for their hard work, determination, and positive attitudes. Often times the demands of the job can be overwhelming, but at Clay County Hospital making sure the patient has an excellent experience is near the top of the priority list. The entire staff as a whole at CCH work hard to make every day an excellent day!

Jennifer Harre, Medical Office Assistant at the CCH Medical Clinic, was named employee of the quarter for going the extra mile and making a patient's. Jennifer has been with the clinic for nearly two years. She has a daughter, Vera, who is 18 months old. When asked how she makes sure that her patients receive and excellent patient experience, Jennifer says she befriends them. "I am very honored and astonished; I work with an amazing group of people who work very hard," says Jennifer about receiving her award. Staff memebers like Jennifer Harre are how Clay County Hospital can truly say we are "Working Together for a Healthier Community."
