Laboratory

The laboratory at Clay County Hospital offers services 24 hours a day to in-patients, emergency, and out-patients of all ages. CCH was awarded accreditation by the College of American Pathologists.
Services Provided:

Our services include General Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, routine therapeutic drug monitoring, and routine Serology as well as a wide variety of other tests. Services provided for out of town physicians with physicians orders.
What to expect during your visit:
Outpatients are required to register with admitting before lab procedures are performed. When the patient arrives in the lab, his/her orders will be checked and the appropriate tubes of blood and/or specimens will be collected. The testing will be performed by a licensed laboratory technologist. The results will be sent to the ordering physician. Critical results will be called to the physician immediately. 
 
Hours of Service:

Normal lab hours are from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM each day, although a licensed technologist is available 24 hours per day.
